Our mission is to inspire creativity!

The International Children's Project (ICP) is a New York City based not-for-profit organization. The projects goal is one of providing the tools necessary for children to grow creatively. At ICP we currently focus on disadvantaged communities that do not offer outlets for creative development whether artistic, musical or other creative form. We are a 3rd party governed organization that holds lineage ties to these communities and strive to make differences, one child at a time.

We work in coordinating and providing supplies and clothing to poor and distressed children residing in economically disadvantaged communities. We place a particular emphasis on providing children with educational opportunities to  promote creative development through art, music and sports.

Site Note:Jacquie Orphanopoulos has been dedicated to aiding in the movement of increasing resources available to small third world communities, specifically Nicaragua. Her efforts have been self-motivated with each trip, book, toy and article of clothing being mostly funded out of her own pocket. Jacquie was faced with the lack of "big idea" progress to be made in the villages she came to visit. Clothing and toys have been sufficient in an immediate benefit to the children but her dreams of helping these children have been set on the founding of a Music and Arts based program. This site invites you to not only join in the cause but to be visually intrigued by the amazing children she has come to know and love. Travel through the countries she visits and if so inclined join the movement!
